A lil' Bit About me

I am a social media storyteller.

As a passionate and creative storyteller I act as a diverse voice for brands on social media to connect with their audience through thoughtfully crafted content and successful campaign launches (from digital issues to partnerships). I have over 3 years of experience in organic and paid social media with lifestyle, beauty, and fashion editorial brands.


I have knowledge in social media production, editing, analytics, copywriting, strategy, community management and more across all platforms.


My successful approach to social media is proven by three factors: driving traffic, growing engagement, and connecting with audiences.

Projects

In 2023, Brides kicked off a video series partnership on Pinterest. I worked closely with the production team, editorial team, and my social team to successfully launch two video series: Bridal Core Couture & Wedding Dress 360. Core Couture is all about the aesthetics that you see taking over socials (think: Barbiecore). To expand on the strategy for this series, we curated individual boards filled with organic and inspirational wedding content from Brides.com to match each aesthetic for actionable content our audience can save. This resulted in driving more views to the series while also driving traffic to our site and building Brides engagement. Issue Launches

Since starting at Dotdash Meredith In 2021, I've assisted with launching over 10 digital issues on social. While I can't show every single piece of content I've created for each issue here is every single one I have promoted over the past 3 years.

VRAI x Brides Licensing Partnership

Brides launched a lab-grown diamond jewelry collection with sustainable brand VRAI. I took the lead on capturing organic social content. Here's a sample of what I captured to launch the partnership and shop the products to drive traffic & revenue.

Morilee Paid Partnership

Bridal designer Morilee is a top sponsor for Brides. In 2023, I spent 4 days with their CEO, lead designer, art director, and marketing team in Italy capturing content of their tradeshow and annual gala to be promoted on Brides social.

TikTok videos using trending sounds

NYBFW is a huge branding moment for Brides. Here are samples of the organic content I edited and transformed to TikTok and IG Reels to engage with our audience and drive traffic to designer collections on site.

Short-Form Influencer & Talent Content

Brides works closely with influencers, vendors, and other stakeholders in the wedding space to highlight vendors, trends, bridal style, and more. Here are some short-form video content ideas that I've filmed and edited. "Do It Again or Do It Over" with Nikki Bella & Husband Artem Chigvintsev is the perfect example of organic content from tentpole launch for Brides. While Meet the vendor is Brides longest running and most consistent Instagram Story series.

Social makes up about 5% of overall traffic for Brides with Facebook being the number one social traffic driver. I took over our Facebook strategy In June 2022 and have grown our traffic over 20% almost consistently MoM. Here are samples of some of the top traffic driving posts.

  • Design and publish social media content across Brides' Instagram Story, Pinterest, Facebook, and TikTok using tools such as DashHudson, Tailwind, Sprout Social, and True Anthem. Created and manage social content calendar in Airtable. Supervised a Pinterest contractor on strategy and content creation. Community management across social platforms. Promoted to Assoc. Social Media Editor in ~9 months.
  • Attend industry events and shoots to capture content for the Brides social platforms. Work with influencers and sponsored clients to create and promote social content. Increasing my social production expertise, communication skills, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Craft analytic reports for all social platforms using Google Analytics, Looker and more to send out weekly updates to the team as well as present social findings to assist editorial team with their content strategy.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Brides' DEI initiatives. Track pledge points each month and report data to the team as well as the Dotdash Meredith DEI leaders.

  • Assisted both the Byrdie and Brides social teams on content creation, scheduling, and publishing across Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and more. Community management with both the beauty and bridal audiences. Ultimately, increasing each brands presence.
  • Worked across both editorial teams to promote key tentpole events such as digital issues, beauty awards, and more. Increasing my organization skills.

BAUCE Magazine

Freelance Social Media Manager, 2020-2022

  • Content creation, strategy and management of BAUCE social media channels to boost engagement, drive traffic and increase followers.
  • Utilize websites such as Canva, Slack, Flodesk, etc. to create graphics, newsletters, promotions, and more for BAUCE to garner subscribers, daily followers, and drive traffic to site.
  • Assist with garnering more press/collaboration/sponsorship opportunities for BAUCE and BAUCE community virtual events to maximize turn out.
